As a teenager, I actively participated in 4-H and enjoyed showing my Black Cocker Spaniel - Cricket.
We accomplished placing at the State level in Conformation and Obedience.

Later as a young adult, I was fortunate to enjoy two beautiful Irish Setters from Judy Jolly of Larkspur Kennel.
Blaze became my 1st show dog. She was quickly shown to her conformation title by Laura King.
Unfortunately, due to my allergies, I could not continue participating in Irish Setters.

Crivitz Standard Schnauzers, began in 2001 with the purchase of a wonderful show puppy from
Charisma Standard Schnauzers, Constance C. Adel. -Dylan. Soon after he achieved his conformation Championship shown by Brenda Combs, and he became Ch. Charisma Syncopation V Rocky.

In 2002, I was able to attend the Westminster Kennel Club and watch ringside
Ch. Charisma Jailhouse Rock - ROCKY, Dylan's sire - win the Working Group for the second year in a row.

In 2004, we added Dylan's daughter - IVA to our family.
She was shown to her conformation Championship by Brenda Combs also.
Iva has a wonderful and happy personality and has produced beautiful pups.

I have been fortunate to have been mentored by
Constance C. Adel, Charisma Standard Schnauzers.
The knowledge and guidance they have provided has been a privilege.
Many other long time breeders have become my friends and been there for me also.
